Harriet Swindell was born on 20 June 1846 in Madison Township, Ohio. She died on 01 February 1916 in Newark, Licking County, Ohio and also is buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Harriet, also known as Hattie, married John Williams who was born about 1870, but nothing further is known of him. They had one child, but nothing is known of this child either.
Hattie's death notice in the Newark Advocate newspaper states that Mrs. Hattie Williams, daughter of William Swindell died a t 4:30 AM in the Newark Sanitarium after a short illness of pneumonia. She was placed in the Sanitarium where she died a few days later. There is no mention of any children or spouse that she leaves behind, only her brothers James and John, and sisters Amy and Catherine.
