4th Child of James H. Swindell
According to the 1880 United States Census, there was a daughter born to James and Rebecca in 1870 or 1871 in Ohio. Laura married an Edward A. Schlosser who was also born in Ohio. They had one known child, Walter E. who was born approximately in 1905 in Ohio.
Laura died on 28 March 1911 at her home in Newark, Ohio. She had been ill for a long time. The death notice states her home was at 679 West Main Street, and Edward lived at 239 Elmwood Ave, both of Newark, Ohio. At the time of her death, her son and husband were both still alive. Laura is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newark, Ohio.
